In rocky shores where large tail-length fish and powerful fish can come at any time, high rigidity is required for the reel foot and the entire body. The HAGANE body adopted in BB-X Larrissa suppresses concerns about impact in harsh environments, deformation, and torsion-induced power loss with a robust aluminum body. Line trouble suppression with Zero Fleece Tension Lever.
The BB-X Larrissa is the only model in 2500/C3000 sizes equipped with the Zero Fleece Tension Lever. When turned ON, the Zero Fleece Tension Lever applies a slight tension to prevent rotor reverse, reducing line troubles caused by rotor reverse during baiting and rig exchange. It also suppresses reverse backlash that can occur during yagen squid fishing due to sudden swimming of bait fish or reverse thrust of squid.
X Protect for rotation preservation and waterproof performance enhancement.
For rocky shore reels that may occasionally be splashed by seawater, high waterproof performance is essential. The BB-X Larrissa adopts X Protect in the line roller part. By combining special water-repellent grease and a labyrinth structure that suppresses water ingress, it achieves high waterproof performance without compromising rotation smoothness.
