The 4000 size, suitable for light saltwater, is based on the highly rated 23 Stradic, with added features such as Infinity Cross, Infinity Drive, and Anti-Twist Fin to improve gear durability and reduce line troubles, pursuing even better usability. The 5000 and 10000 models feature X-Tough Drag, achieving upgrades in durability, heat dissipation, and maximum drag force. Designed to handle heavy-weight lures and fights with large fish. Additionally, the 5000 and 6000 models eliminate the traditional bail auto-return mechanism to prevent casting troubles.

Saltwater fishing is often described as more severe compared to freshwater. In other words, saltwater tackle must be equipped with specs capable of handling these threats, and the very name SW on the product signifies toughness.

The Stradic SW, to boldly attack saltwater games, features robust waterproof structures such as X-Protect (excluding the 4000 size) and X-Shield to reduce seawater intrusion. It prevents deterioration of metal parts and internal corrosion, maintaining smooth rotation and initial performance over time. The drive system incorporates Infinity Drive and HAGANE gears, supporting powerful fights with CI4 round handle knobs. It offers power and durability to handle unexpected large fish confidently. Furthermore, models above 5000 feature X-Tough Drag, improving not only maximum drag force but also durability and heat dissipation. Significant upgrade in the capabilities of the 4000 size

The 4000 size, the smallest in the series, has been significantly upgraded from the previous model. Notably, the incorporation of Infinity Drive results in a more powerful winding feel. The addition of Infinity Cross greatly enhances gear durability. Despite being a model mainly for light game, its toughness rivals larger sizes. In terms of operability, it now includes Anti-Twist Fin to reduce line troubles. By suppressing slack, it reduces line slipping and tangling, advancing toward more comfortable fishing. The handle remains the same as current models, adopting a CI4 round knob that is easy to grip, allowing maximum power with minimal input.

Enhanced maximum drag value for improved big-fish strategies

X-Tough Drag, installed on models 5000 and above, uses washers made solely of metal and carbon, supporting the spool from both top and bottom. An additional large-diameter drag washer at the bottom of the spool increases maximum drag from 12kg to 13kg on the 5000 and 6000, from 13kg to 16kg on the 8000, and from 13kg to 15kg on the 10000, representing a performance upgrade over previous models. This allows for easier, more controlled stopping of large fish. The X-Tough Drag also improves durability and heat dissipation of the drag section, further smoothing and stabilizing drag performance.

Robust waterproof structure to reduce seawater intrusion, the greatest threat

For saltwater game tackle, one of the greatest threats is salt. Especially, seawater intrusion can corrode internal structures of the reel and cause performance deterioration. Waterproof performance is crucial. The X-Protect used in the 4000 size employs a non-contact waterproof system that maintains light rotation. It is installed in the stopper bearing and line roller, demonstrating high waterproof performance. Models above 5000 feature X-Shield, which applies strong sealing at the body cover joint and spool drag knob contact points to block seawater entry. X-Protect also uses low-friction contact seals, ensuring long-term maintenance of initial performance through an impregnable waterproof structure suited to various scenes.
