The world of Eging is simple yet profound. Targets include not only bluefin squid but also firefly squid and cuttlefish. Available for shore, offshore, shallow, and deep waters. We have a wide range of models to enjoy Eging throughout the four seasons. The blanks feature Spiral X, which achieves high torsional rigidity and crush resistance, and Hyper Power X, which further suppresses twisting. These contribute to improving the jerk performance, the essence of Eging rods. The lineup includes standard items, as well as short, long, and solid tip varieties. With attention to grip and design, these rods allow for more comfortable Eging experiences.

The basic structure 'Spiral X' and the reinforced structure 'Hyper Power X' work together to produce overwhelming stability.

The Seabass SS blanks adopt Spiral X as the basic structure. This is a three-layer structure with carbon tape wound diagonally in opposite directions on the inner and outer layers of the rod's vertical fibers, achieving high torsional and crush resistance while maintaining lightness.

Furthermore, the outermost layer employs a reinforced structure called Hyper Power X, where carbon tape is wound in an X-shape over the Spiral X structure. This design fully harnesses the potential of the blank.

The effects of Spiral X and Hyper Power X can be felt during actual fishing, such as during casting and fighting, where high loads are applied to the rod. For example, when vigorously jerking the Egi, the rod remains stable and less prone to wobbling, enabling precise operation. When a large squid hits, the rod can firmly absorb the powerful jet propulsion, allowing for successful landing.

The rod bends smoothly and comfortably, yet thanks to high torsional and crush resistance, it offers stable operation and reduces power loss due to twisting or crushing, resulting in a high satisfaction experience for anglers.

Spiral X is a three-layer structure with carbon tape wound diagonally in opposite directions on the inner and outer layers of the vertical fibers of the rod. This diagonal fiber arrangement maintains lightness while achieving high torsional and crush resistance. It improves the instantaneous power transfer during casting and fighting, enhancing the rod's fundamental strength, and is Shimano's original 'basic structure'.

Hyper Power X

An enhanced structure that further suppresses twisting during casting and fighting. It features carbon tape wound in an X-shape over the outermost layer of Spiral X or over the cross-wound carbon sheet. This ensures the rod's bend retains the angler's intended direction, fully demonstrating the blank's inherent performance.

Soft Tube Top

A lightweight, highly sensitive tubular tip with a special design that adds flexibility comparable to solid tips. It features a smooth, beautiful bend without hesitation.
