Compared to conventional structures, the rotational torque is up to 30% lighter. The double drag structure breaks the common sense of lever drag.
Inshore jigging, such as Tonjigi and Kihada jigging, has become more accessible, making it possible to target 50kg class fish. For fighting large fish, the reel requires not only line capacity but also reliable drag. The lever drag system adopted in Osea Jigger LD, due to its structure, easily produces high drag values and allows for instant, precise drag adjustments, offering many advantages. However, a weakness was that increasing drag force made handle rotation heavier. To minimize this disadvantage, the Osea Jigger LD is equipped with Infinity Drive in the lever drag. By using a double drag structure with two drag washers, it achieves high drag force with low thrust. Compared to conventional models of the same size, it realizes up to 30% lighter rotational torque. This lightness of rotation, similar to a star drag system, is a key advantage of the Osea Jigger LD. Comparing it with traditional lever drags, the difference can be immediately felt. Additionally, the drag lever is made of a cold-forged lever designed exclusively for the Osea Jigger LD. Its high rigidity and carefully considered shape enable smoother drag operation.

Includes light line cam
Customize drag changes with the included light line cam.
The drag of the Osea Jigger LD is equipped with a standard cam that is adjusted for PE 3号 to 5号, with a large adjustment range, but by replacing it with the included light line cam, it can be customized to a gentle drag characteristic suitable for PE 1.5号 to 2.5号. This setting is suitable for light line fishing where rapid drag changes are undesirable.
Strike stopper button
The strike position stopper button stops the lever at the strike position, reducing the risk of over-tightening and breaking for anglers not accustomed to lever drags. It is also effective for mid-layer tuna targeting. However, for fighting near the bottom with yellowtail or for experts who do not need a stopper, it can be turned off.
Drive gear
Achieves lightweight design while maintaining strength
The large drive gear supporting the drive unit is made of ultra-high-strength brass, designed with robustness and high precision. There are no compromises on strength. Furthermore, the Osea Jigger LD features weight reduction through hollowing without sacrificing strength.
Samming space

The handle is equipped as standard with a high-rigidity, cold-forged long crank handle. The synergistic effect with the HAGANE body allows for direct winding performance without power loss.
