Manufacturer's description
Tactical Armor
High-precision metal body with micro module gear for robust and smooth drive system, equipped with digital counter and fall lever, achieving advanced strategy and reproducibility in Ocea Conquest CT. Features include a fall lever and infinity drive that prevent winding from becoming heavy even when tensioned, further improving ease of winding and sensitivity. Additionally, the line counter with an expanded viewing angle includes a winding distance alarm, supporting more detailed strategies. Of course, the durable clutch, corrosion-resistant stainless steel parts, and waterproof performance with X-PROTECT, built into the Ocea Conquest, are fully inherited. Improvements in ease of grip and visibility of the counter, along with meticulous detail enhancements, meet the expectations of offshore anglers. The newly lineup MG model adopts a CI4+ round handle knob, making it ideal for doTERRA sea bream trolling games.
Line counter
As many anglers have already experienced, since the introduction of counters in offshore lure games, strategies involving jigging, sea bream trolling, and other underwater tactics have significantly changed. Previously, water depth, which could often be ambiguous, can now be accurately grasped with numerical values, allowing for precise range control even in situations with strict range or target. This shift from relying on intuition to a logical approach has made sharing information with crew members and captains more specific and accurate, greatly increasing the reproducibility of hit patterns, undoubtedly thanks to the digital counter. The line counter installed in the Ocea Conquest CT now includes a winding distance alarm in addition to traditional functions. You can know the distance from the bottom without staring at the counter, enabling efficient repeated tracing of the necessary range. Whether it’s light jigging, mid-deep sea, doTERRA sea bream trolling, or any genre, the line counter has become an essential feature for offshore dual-shaft reels. Here lies the forefront of its evolution.
Improved viewing angle with counter tilt.
The line counter of Ocea Conquest CT is tilted 5° forward from the display screen of the previous model to improve the viewing angle. It also enhances the ease of gripping while often used with the tip lowered during fishing movements. It’s a small improvement that’s hardly noticeable unless pointed out, but the difference is clear in actual fishing. We thoroughly review even the smallest details that bother us. The uncompromising attitude results in the ease of use of Conquest.
Powerful yet compact. Fits in the palm of your hand with a small S-compact body.
The Ocea Conquest body width is reduced by 3mm on the gripping side. Additionally, similar to the 22 Ocea Conquest 300, the small diameter side plates are offset to also reduce height, further improving grip. The small, lightweight body fits naturally in the hand, allowing a comfortable grip, and reduces fatigue during long fights. It offers the high-quality rotation feel and high winding power characteristic of Ocea Conquest.
Handle knobs redesigned for different scenes.
The handle has been improved for ease of use by pursuing the optimal length and shape for each size. The 300/301MG doTERRA Tai Rubber model features a 70mm handle with a lightweight CI4 round knob, improving ease of uniform winding and sensitivity. The shaft diameter is increased by 2mm for better grip during reeling. Additionally, the 300/301HG and 300PG designed for light jigging use feature a 75mm handle with a T-shaped knob, prioritizing ease of applying force. The thumb grip and hand fit have been improved for even easier handling.
FEATURE (Features)
High-durability clutch
Shimano’s clutch, known for high durability, features a special surface treatment on the pinion gear to further improve durability and salt resistance. The reliability of the clutch is even stronger. The design philosophy aimed at truly usable reels is also reflected here.
High corrosion-resistant internal parts
All main parts, including internal washers, are designed for toughness. Made with high-rigidity, corrosion-resistant stainless steel for offshore use, ensuring safe and reliable fights.
Level wind linkage
The spool and level wind are linked structurally. Line release becomes straight and smooth, allowing for precise fall of the rig. During fights, the drag operates smoothly, making it safe even with thin lines.
Line slip prevention pin
The spool is equipped with a pin to securely fix PE lines. This small part eliminates the need for slip tapes or under-winding nylon lines when starting to wind, preventing accidental line slipping troubles.
