Aiming for a lightweight and easy-to-throw rod. The first surf rod is Nessa BB.
Nessa BB is designed to be easy to handle for those starting surf fishing.
A particular focus was on lightness, successfully reducing weight compared to the previous Nessa BB, and minimizing the feeling of weight from length. Designed so that even those lacking confidence in strength can cast comfortably and easily achieve long-distance throws.
Furthermore, during fish fights, it is designed to handle delicate lure manipulation and to have enough power to target bluefish during fights.
It has inherited the performance of higher-class blanks and is finished as an entry-level surf-only rod.
FEATURE (Features)
High Power X
A reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting during casting and fighting. Features include spiral X outer layer or a cross-structured carbon sheet with additional carbon tape tightened in an X-shape. This ensures the rod's bend retains the angler's intended direction and fully demonstrates the blank's inherent performance.
CI4+
An evolved version of Shimano's proprietary material CI4, reinforced with carbon fiber. It is characterized by being lighter and having higher strength compared to traditional resins.
