Only if it is tough can it compete with the "world".
A Japan-style travel rod designed for versatile enjoyment in the great outdoors, regardless of fish species or field conditions.
Features a portable "One & Half 2-piece" or "5-piece" structure, a regular taper rod action, large-diameter guides to handle thick lines and line systems, returning to the fundamentals of lure fishing with high versatility.
The stage is the world, and it does not discriminate against fish species.
Powerful, tough, and useful. The Japan-style travel rod that approaches a worldwide target. That is the 19 Scorpion.
Encounters beyond the sea.
The sight of a fish-eater repeatedly trying to swallow lures larger than the palm of your hand energizes anglers enough to blow away daily fatigue.
Equipped with the fighting power to battle overseas monsters, the 19 Scorpion is capable of handling such challenges.
This rod, with its toughness, high versatility, and excellent portability, is suitable not only for overseas expeditions but also for various domestic lure fishing, thanks to its deep adaptability.
Once you step into this world, you will surely empathize with the high adaptability of this rod.
Unknown fields, unknown people, unknown fish.
Anglers who are grateful for wonderful encounters and vow to return, train themselves for the coming days and further polish their tackle.
From Japan to the world, a genuine lure rod equipped with the power to fight the real thing.
We present the qualities of a hunter to the world.
The Perfection Seat XT, which has been thoroughly lightened while maintaining the balance of grip comfort and power transmission, is combined with the Airfect Seat CI4+ and a straight cork for the spinning grip. For power 2 and above, all double-foot guides are used, pursuing a tough and easy-to-handle specification. For bait only.
The cork grip with a natural feel is inscribed with the Scorpion logo and item name. The deep red accent in the ring proves its origin.
FEATURE
Adoption of large-diameter stainless steel frame guides.
In fields where monsters lurk, PE lines of class 6 and shock leaders exceeding 100lb may be required. The Scorpion is equipped with large-diameter stainless steel frame SiC guides assuming the use of heavy lines for all items. For power 2 and above, all double-foot guides emphasizing strength and rigidity are used, suitable for power fishing. Since the number of items that can be brought on an expedition is limited, a tough structure that avoids troubles such as guide breakage is essential.
Lightweight and tough blanks using Spiral X & High Power X.
If only strength is required to deal with monsters, there are no particularly difficult elements in rod manufacturing. However, the Scorpion, which has pursued JAPAN STYLE as a lure rod should be, has achieved a lightweight, easy-to-handle, supple yet tough and powerful blank. At its core are Shimano's unique carbon tape structures such as Spiral X and High Power X. This is the world standard for power rods, allowing for smooth casting, lure action, and fighting.
The spinning reel seat allows for fitting according to the size of the reel foot by using the "S position" and "L position" differently.
