Are diving pencils and poppers the only effective topwater lures for SW big game? Can these lures overcome all situations? These questions prompted the development of the Screw Drive 180F / 180F FLAS HBOOST. The goal was to create a third appeal performance that cannot be achieved by diving pencils or poppers. The inspiration for the Screw Drive 180F / 180F FLAS HBOOST came from prop baits designed for large freshwater targets like muskies and pikes. By rotating the prop, water flow and sound are generated to attract fish from a wide area, thoroughly built into a SW specification. The Screw Drive 180F / 180F FLAS HBOOST has been elevated to a SW big game dedicated lure.

The Screw Drive 180F / 180F FLAS HBOOST is based on the concept that a lure with a prop attached to the rear of the body, which rotates by grabbing water and spinning, generates bubbles and sound. It maintains a stable "popping" action with a "poko-poko" sound during steady retrieval. During short jerks, it can produce a "gobbo" popping action. Additionally, because the weight is located at the rear of the body and the prop is always submerged, it is less prone to misaction even in rough water. Even in surface conditions where poppers or diving pencils might roll over, it persistently remains on the surface and continues its action. Even in situations with high expectations for big fish, but where lure operation is difficult, the Screw Drive 180F / 180F FLAS HBOOST does not miss bite opportunities.

The prop fins include two types: normal large and easy to exchange. The basic is the normal size. The normal size allows high-speed action. The body is divided into two parts, with a structure where a wire runs through and a prop is attached to a rotating part. The Screw Drive 180F / 180F FLAS HBOOST clears both the high standards of distance and strength required for SW big game at a high level. Initially, resistance from the prop during casting caused deceleration and wobbling of the lure. However, through thorough testing of body shape and weight balance, a distance comparable to diving pencils was achieved without stress for the angler.
