The Long Weaver is a versatile jig with a long silhouette suitable for a wide range of scenes, including slow, light, and high-pitch. It has low resistance, transitioning to slide action with minimal input. Its long glide distance and extended hang time appeal to targets. With a center of gravity shifted slightly to the rear, it entices targets with irregular slow falls and large amplitude swings, making it effective when used in sync with tide flow, especially when matched to the current for optimal performance.
