HAGANE's rigidity in a compact S-shaped body that's easy to grip. Smooth and lightweight winding feeling and power brought by micro module gear & infinity drive. These elements required for jigging reels are satisfied at a high level in Ocea Jigger, with the addition of a new strategy called speed. The range extends from gear ratio 5.1 with a maximum retrieve of 78cm (1500PG) to gear ratio 7.0 with a maximum retrieve of 132cm (2000NRXG), in 7 steps. By combining retrieve speed and jerk patterns, jigging is taken to new heights. Equipped with advanced technology such as X-Protect for waterproofing and high-performance drag, the Jigger boasts state-of-the-art features. Suitable for a wide range of games from coastal waters to mid-deep seas.

Micro module gear

A new drive system with small, precise gears meshing closely.

Achieves an unprecedented silky winding feel thanks to ultra-small precision gears and an intricate body housing. Compared to conventional gears, vibration levels are less than half (our comparison), and increased meshing teeth ensure greater strength than traditional gears. This Shimano-exclusive gear system balances smooth feeling and strength.


HAGANE body

Uses lightweight yet highly rigid metals such as aluminum and magnesium to firmly suppress reel flex, distortion, and twisting. Maintains delicate gear engagement and enables smooth reeling.


New shape lightweight T-shaped handle knob

Both 1500 and 2000 models feature the T-shaped handle knob adopted in the 9 Ocea Jigger F Custom. Lightweight and easy to grip, the shape allows for strong force application, suitable for high-load applications such as bluefish and mid-deep sea games.


Cold-forged long crank handle

Achieves approximately 200% higher rigidity

Standard equipment includes a high-rigidity, cold-forged long crank handle. The body of the handle, crafted to be hard and durable, achieves about twice the rigidity of conventional models, and in synergy with the HAGANE body, allows for direct, power-loss-free winding performance.
