Toushun
Enjoy fishing fun; 6-shaku and 7-shaku models also available
"Toushun" is a rod with power in the tip and mid-section for actual fishing.
The slightly stiff and taut action makes it easy to cast and the strike feels sharp.
The 6-shaku and 7-shaku models (3 sections, 2 joints with a collapsible tip) are stylish lengths to keep in a case for fishing in small waterways with a water town atmosphere.
Traditional "dan-nuri" finish with "Akane Komon Togidashi" polishing, which reveals the small pattern depending on the sunlight.
We are particular about the coating of the rod rest and the handle.
High-precision taper joint that creates smooth power transmission with a curved line
Tubular tip
Braided cord grip
3-section step coating
Akane komon togidashi finish
Adopts a micro-rotating reel seat that pursues compactness and water-shedding performance
Hand-finished (color and texture may vary slightly depending on the product, each with its own unique expression)
Stopper with a groove that allows the tip to be stored with the rig attached
Includes a rod bag to protect the rod
For Futengen Doho/Shumonho/Keisen, the overlap of the spigot joint is calculated as minus 5mm per overlap.
The combination is possible by purchasing after-parts, but the joints may not fit due to individual differences in parts, so please entrust it to your nearest fishing tackle store for repair. Please note that parts adjustment labor costs will be charged separately.
For Futengen Doho rod rests (2-piece models), if you add an extra joint by purchasing after-parts, the action becomes softer, and depending on the combination with the rod holder, the rod may hit the rod rest and cannot be supported when trying to support the rod directly above the rod rest. It is not a problem if supported to the side rather than directly above the rod rest.
The gap of the spigot joint is not calculated for Toushun.
The photo is for illustration purposes only, and the color and shape may differ depending on the model number you select.
