GRX 11-speed Series

SHIMANO GRX has built gravel-specific components. Not just a simple adaptation of road components, but designed from the ground up for gravel riding.

2-piece Crankset

Integrates the crank arm and bottom bracket.

Wide bearing positioning.

Installing the Crank

1. Insert the right crank arm unit into the bottom bracket

2. Set the left crank arm onto the axle of the right crank arm

Apply grease to the axle of the right crank arm unit.

Align the wide part of the left crank arm with the wide part of the right crank arm unit's axle.

3. Install the cap

Apply grease to the position shown in the diagram on the crank arm fixing bolt.

Tighten using a Shimano specialized tool.

4. Tighten and fix with bolts

Set the stopper plate in the orientation shown in the diagram and push it in.

Confirm that the plate pin is inserted.

Tighten the bolts of the left crank arm alternately on both sides.
