The blanks are upgraded with Shimano's unique technology, Spiral X core and Hyper Power X, using lighter and stronger materials. While maintaining ample strength, the outer diameter has been made thinner than before, enabling thorough elimination of wobble and excellent operability. All precision has increased, and strength is up by 30% compared to conventional models. It offers a metallic tension reminiscent of the original Shaula, which left its mark in the history of lure rods, and possesses the full potential needed to challenge the world.

The blank color features a dazzling, elegant rainbow titanium ceramic coating, a symbol of Shimano Limited models. It changes color in multiple ways depending on the light position and viewing angle, with a blue-based rainbow hue. Cork material is harvested by peeling the bark from cork oak trees using a special process. As a natural product, individual differences are inevitable. Cracks that occur during growth or in the raw wood are unavoidable, and most cork is processed and shaped for appearance. The highest grade, which requires no additional processing, has historically been used for wine stoppers and musical instruments where taste and sound quality are directly affected.
