At the tip of the high-strength PE line intended for large fish, tie a thick-diameter leader sometimes exceeding 100 lb. This is not only a countermeasure against cover abrasion but also a setting to withstand the target's sharp teeth and intense power fights.

The knot section connecting PE and the leader naturally becomes large due to their thick diameters, resulting in large knots. During casting, these knots interfere with the guide's inner diameter, causing flight distance reduction and line troubles.
