The Seffia SS tip eging has been fully redesigned to match the increasingly mature tip eging scene. Equipped with technologies used in higher models, such as the Perfection Seat XT, achieving performance and fishing ability beyond its class. Notably, two 'F' action models, which were not available in the previous lineup.
The traditional Shimano tip eging rod is defined as 'R' action. The more tip-focused 'F' action is designed for situations like calm waters and high activity, where the distance to the surface is short, using the short F-S511M-S for manual operation and quick retrieval. For deep or rapid current areas with strong resistance, the F-S68M-S allows sharp jerks. Both are designed for aggressive, active hooking.
Another legacy of the Seffia SS tip eging series is the 'R' action. The lightweight and highly maneuverable R-S511ML-S and the R-S72ML-S, which stabilize the lure's posture in strong wind and waves, cover various fields nationwide. They excel at誘ってアタリをとって掛ける (誘う:誘う, アタリ: bite, 掛ける: hook). These all-rounders realize high-level basic operations of tip eging.

Another notable evolution in the 24 Seffia SS tip eging is the addition of a ToughTech solid tip, used in higher models. This high-strength solid tip has three times the winding strength and five times the winding amount of typical solid tips, characterized by being strong and flexible.
In tip eging, ease of handling and the ability to clearly detect delicate bites through the tip's return, entry, and sway are essential. The improved eye sensitivity contributes to this.
Furthermore, the flexible ToughTech works during lure stays. It supports wave motion that cannot be fully absorbed by rod operation alone. The stabilized lure posture increases fishing success, making it an indispensable advantage in tip eging.
