NEW SUPER SLR
The new Super SLR system reduces friction inside the caliper, lever, and cable.
By adopting a dual pivot mechanism based on leverage and thoroughly reducing brake system friction, it dramatically improves efficiency, allowing strong braking power with minimal lever force. Additionally, the lever features a Servo Wave mechanism. The shoes quickly contact the rim, and by increasing the stroke from the contact point where braking begins, control is improved.
Furthermore, the lever employs a Servo Wave mechanism. It quickly contacts the shoes and rim initially, and by increasing the lever stroke from the contact point where braking starts, control is enhanced.
SLR is an essential element for Shimano dual pivot calipers and enables higher braking force than traditional side-pull brakes.
Ice Technology pads
