In addition to the standard 100 size, 150/151HG models are added to support Tora-dai trolling.
Along with the highly versatile 100 size PG and HG (left winding is 101), the 150HG and 151HG are equipped with a 60mm long handle and round knob for speedy and strong search of deep waters under water pressure, and an aluminum plate on side A enhances body rigidity. It achieves powerful winding without compromising high gear efficiency. The lightweight design without a counter makes it a valuable asset for lighter Tora-dai trolling beyond super-deep waters.

Fall lever
A lever designed to easily and accurately control fall speed, which was previously difficult to control. Allows for more strategic fishing, such as high speed in mid-water layers and low speed near the bottom.
Level wind-linked spool
A structure where the spool and level wind are linked. Enables line release to be straight and smooth, allowing for stable fall of the rig. During fighting, the drag operates smoothly, suitable even for fishing with thin lines.
Micro module gear
Small precision gears and an intricate body housing realize an unprecedented silky winding feel. Compared to conventional gears, vibration is less than half (company comparison), and increased gear engagement ensures greater strength than traditional gears. A Shimano proprietary gear system that balances smooth feeling and strength.
X-SHIP
Drive gear enlargement, proper arrangement of pinion and drive gears, and dual support with bearing on the pinion gear ensure a strong gear mesh that maintains a light, responsive reeling under load.
HAGANE body
Using lightweight yet highly rigid metals such as aluminum and magnesium, it effectively suppresses reel flex, distortion, and twisting. Protects delicate gear engagement and enables smooth reeling.
X-Protection
Employs Shimano’s proud high waterproof system, X-Protection. Uses waterproof barriers and special water-repellent grease to strongly guard against water ingress into the drive gear shaft and spool-side bearing. Further evolved into a highly durable offshore specification.
