It expresses the different flexes by size, with a spiral X core designed for high strength against bending, twisting, and crushing; X guides with lightweight, reduced line tangles; and parabola tune R, which produces smooth flex and power comparable to a one-piece rod. These are combined into an original advanced design, core blanks, that accurately expresses the flex suited to the purpose. Additionally, the tip uses high-strength solid Tough Tech. The design thoroughly pursues detailed performance, such as elastomer grips that reduce slipping at the grip end during fights, providing stability. The fusion of basic performance and flex suitable for the situation allows full enjoyment of rocky shore fuka-se fishing.

Main features by flex

Master Tune offers six models in total, with 500 and 530 sizes each, targeting Kuchi-buto, with 1, 1.2, and 1.5号. The characteristic is that the tuning is changed for each size, finishing with different flexes. Size 1 is tuned for the most delicate harris suitable for fierce areas like Yonezu in Oita, Mugi in Tokushima, and the Kii Peninsula, making it the most delicate in the series. Sizes 1.2 and 1.5 are designed for the entire range of Kuchi-buto areas across Japan, including Izu Peninsula, Shikoku, and Kyushu, with a balanced overall tuning. Size 1.2 emphasizes line management for basic fuka-se fishing, with a balanced setting from baiting to operation and fight. Size 1.5 is tuned for casting, operation, and fighting, with a front-tuned setting to always maintain dominance, suitable for long-distance areas like Yagahama in Nibujima and good-sized Kuchi-buto on remote islands like Goto in Kyushu.

X Seat (Palm Fit Seat CI4+II)
