Enjoy precise jig operation with your fingertips. Three new tubular models for super light jigging have been released.
To evolve the absolute performance of jigging rods, which is the jerk, and to manipulate the jig more easily and as desired, the game type LJ was developed based on this concept. In addition to the already available standard model LJ, full solid model LJ, and SLJ, three tubular models have been added to the super light jigging category. All feature the lightweight, high sensitivity, and high response characteristics unique to tubulars, enabling detailed jig operation, precise slide and fall actions with one-pitch jerk, straight swimming with reel jerk, and various jig actions to target different fish.

Spiral X core
Next-generation basic structure evolved with the adoption of high-strength materials.
Using Shimano's original design and manufacturing methods, the structure thoroughly pursues higher strength against bending, twisting, and crushing in all directions. The basic structure that enhances rod performance from the core, Spiral X, uses carbon tape made with high-strength resin realized through Nano Alloy Technology. Carefully selected materials achieve further high strength.

Born from the perspective of rod manufacturers, X Guide was created to fully harness the potential of the blank. It is Shimano's original high-performance guide that combines lightness, trouble-free operation, and high casting performance.
High Power X
A reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting during casting and fighting. It features the outermost layer of Spiral X or a cross-structured carbon tape wrapped in an X-shape over the carbon sheet. This maintains the bend direction of the rod as intended by the angler and fully demonstrates the inherent performance of the blank.

Maintains the characteristics of a thin, highly flexible, and resilient full solid, while adopting a reinforced structure to suppress twisting. The outermost layer of the blank is reinforced with carbon tape in an X-shape, greatly reducing wobble and power loss. It suppresses unpleasant feelings caused by twisting, a common issue with general full solids, and achieves a comfortable rod action.

The X Guide 3D Titanium used in the tip section is made from durable, lightweight titanium using Shimano's cold forging technology. The 3D technology calculates the inclination angle, eliminating steps and sharp edges in the three-dimensional frame structure, balancing trouble-free performance and smooth line release. It allows stress-free operation of lightweight jigs under strong wind with PE line. Its compact size reduces the distance between line and blank, transmitting delicate hits more clearly.
