Spiral X

Overcomes twisting and crushing, fundamentally enhancing rod performance.

Spiral X is a three-layer structure with carbon tape diagonally wound in opposite directions on the inner and outer layers of the rod's vertical fibers. The diagonal fibers maintain lightness while achieving high torsional rigidity and crush resistance. Instant power transfer during casting and fighting improves, maintaining lightness and enhancing the fundamental strength to catch fish, Shimano's original "basic structure."

Hyper Power X

A reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting during casting and fighting. It involves wrapping carbon tape in an X-shape over the outermost layer of Spiral X or the cross-structured carbon sheet. CI4+
