A dedicated model developed with the concept of "more lightweight and comfortable" for light shore jigging on fields such as breakwaters, surf, gravel beaches, etc. Adopting Shimano's unique rod technology, including the basic structure Spiral X and reinforced structure Hyper Power X, enabling comfortable continuation of key casts and actions important in this game through weight reduction. Additionally, it achieves long-distance casting performance and power to tackle target bluefish and others. The guide setting is also specialized for light shore jigging, thoroughly pursuing line trouble prevention.

All lineup of light shore jigging rods is astonishingly lightweight, under 200g. As light as holding a seabass rod, allowing more delicate operation of metal jigs. Furthermore, the lightness improves sensitivity, making it easier to feel the lure's bottom contact and changes in tide flow, which are important when targeting bluefish.

Spiral X

Overcomes twisting and crushing, fundamentally enhancing rod performance.

Spiral X is a three-layer structure with carbon tape tightly wound diagonally in opposite directions on the inner and outer layers of the rod's vertical fibers. The diagonal fibers on the inside and outside maintain lightness while achieving high torsional rigidity and crush resistance. Instant power transfer during casting and fighting improves, maintaining lightness and enhancing the fundamental strength to catch fish, Shimano's original "basic structure."

Hyper Power X

A reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting during casting and fighting. It features wrapping carbon tape in an X-shape over the outermost layer of Spiral X or over the crosswise carbon sheet structure. This keeps the bend of the rod aligned with the angler's intended direction, fully demonstrating the original performance of the blank.

CI4+

An evolved version of Shimano's proprietary material CI4, reinforced with carbon fiber. It is characterized by being lighter and having higher strength compared to conventional resins.
