- **Liver dysfunction:** Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of skin and whites of eyes), dark urine, general fatigue, loss of appetite.
- **Mesenteric venous sclerosis:** Repeated abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal distension from long-term use.

- Angelica root (Touki), Peony root (Shakuyaku), Cyperus rhizome (Senkyu), San-shishi (Sanchi), Forsythia fruit (Rengyo), Mentha (Hakka), Coptis (Keigai), Angelica root (Bofū), Ephedra (Maou) — 1.2 g each
- Peony root (Byakujutsu), Kyushu gentian (Kikyo), Licorice (Ougon), Licorice (Kanzou), Gypsum (Sekko) — 2.0 g each
- Rhubarb (Boushou), Dahuang (Daiou) — 1.5 g each
- Ginger (Shokyo) — 0.3 g
- Cassia seed (Kasseki) — 3.0 g

- As excipients: Hydroxypropyl cellulose, Talc, Silicon dioxide, Cellulose, Magnesium stearate, Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Titanium dioxide, Yellow iron oxide, Carnauba wax.
