京都 西陣織の帯メーカー・となみ織物が製織する絹で織り上げた帯地を使ったお財布です。仙福屋では、絹織物を日々の生活に取り入れて頂きたいと考えて、モノづくりを行っています。この『仙福屋の絹お財布』はそんなモノづくりの一つ。絹の持つ光沢や発色、帯の持つ意匠の美しさを感じて頂けるアイテムです。汚れや水分から帯地を守るため、表面には特殊なコーティングを施しました。このコーティングは絹の持つ発色や帯の持つ意匠を邪魔せず、大変優れたものです。
●意匠について
アイルランドなどに古くから伝わるケルト装飾文様を織りで表現しました。魔除けの意味を持っています。普遍的な意匠は千数百年経った今でも、根強い人気を誇っております。

仙福屋が作る財布は、絹織物の特色を十分に理解し、知り尽くした熟練の職人の手によって制作されています。帯地の糸染め、製織、財布の縫製まで全てを日本国内で行っております。
