Original design of a Japanese pattern featuring Sengoku warlords, Kagemusha (shadow warriors), and Maeda Keiji T-shirts! Based on the historical novel "Ichamu-an Fūryūki" by Ryu Kōichirō, and also famous as the protagonist of the historical manga "Hana no Keiji -Kumo no Kanata ni-" by Tetsuo Hara.
Maeda Keiji was a military commander from the late Sengoku period to the early Edo period, and a nephew by marriage of Maeda Toshiie. He was renowned for his bravery, extensive knowledge of classical texts, and his skill in waka poetry, making him a first-class literary figure. His rich education is evident in the "Maeda Keiji Dōchū Nikki," which records his journey from Kyoto to Yonezawa.
At the Battle of Hasedo Castle, despite being over 64 years old, he wielded a large red-lacquered spear and achieved fame. Many daimyōs (feudal lords) sought to employ him, but he returned to Yonezawa, saying, "I have seen through the true intentions of all the lords in this recent battle," and ended his life enjoying elegance while receiving a stipend of 500 koku.

**Design Concept**On days with formal ceremonies requiring attendance at castle, Maeda Keiji appears in a plain robe without family crests. When asked why he has no family crest, he points to a lice on his plain robe, indicating, "Here it is." At TWT, we thought lice might be too small, so we used a flea as the family crest, leaning slightly.
