This is our #1 best-selling matcha product in the matcha category.A high-grade matcha perfect for both thick and thin tea.It can also be enjoyed in various ways, such as in matcha lattes mixed with milk or in matcha sweets.
About Matcha:Similar to Gyokuro, it is made by grinding "Tencha," which is tea leaves grown shielded from sunlight, steamed, and then dried, using a stone mill or similar. It is primarily used in tea ceremonies. When whisked, it releases a unique aroma, froths into a vibrant blue-green color, and is a smooth-drinking tea.
How to Brew:Place 2 scoops of matcha (approximately 1.7g) into a tea bowl using a tea scoop.Pour about one-third of hot water (around 80°C) into the tea bowl.Support the tea bowl with your non-dominant hand, and hold the bamboo whisk with the index finger, middle finger, and thumb of your dominant hand.Slowly mix the matcha with the hot water at the bottom, then move your wrist back and forth. Finally, move the whisk slowly to create a fine foam on the surface, and gently lift the whisk. It is ready when the surface of the matcha is finely foamed like cream.
