This product is a set of a hanging scroll for the side altars of the Sōtō school and a scroll stand for hanging it.
The subdued colors and elegant mounting blend well with any altar design. It has a different charm than hanging scrolls with ornate mounting.
Jōyō Daishi (right) refers to Zen Master Dōgen, the founder of Eihei-ji Temple of the Sōtō school, and is enshrined on the upper tier of the altar, to the right when facing it.
Jōsai Daishi (left) refers to Zen Master Keizan, the founder of Sōji-ji Temple of the Sōtō school, and is enshrined on the upper tier of the altar, to the left when facing it.
