The memorable scene where Moroboshi Dan, facing his final battle, confesses to his beloved Anne that he is Ultraseven, is accompanied by Dinu Lipatti's piano, performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Karajan, playing Schumann's Piano Concerto, as is well known among Ultraseven fans.
Lipatti, a genius who died young at 33, and this intense performance are already renowned and have been reissued multiple times.
