What is a "JOUKEIBAKO"?
A palm-sized mini diorama, a scene packed in a box.
The appeal of this work is the precision with which it is condensed into a tiny world of less than 10 cm in size, and the touch of brush painting that evokes a nostalgic feeling, like a hand-drawn illustration.
The dioramas are produced as a series of works with matching case sizes, making it a great collectible or gift!
