**Photo Book Release Commemoration Event a Great Success!**
Yoshinaga Sayuri appears in numerous media outlets!
On May 24, 2024, at Shin Bungeiza, a commemorative event for the publication of the "Yoshinaga Sayuri: Youth Era Photo Collection" was held.
The event was a full house, with many media outlets covering it, and Yoshinaga Sayuri appeared, sharing her memories of her first visit to Nikkatsu Studios. She recalled, "I thought I would study hard in high school, but on the day of my entrance ceremony, I went to Nikkatsu Studios. I still remember that day. Nikkatsu told me I would only appear in two films a year, but the next year I ended up in 16, so I couldn’t attend school much. Still, Nikkatsu became like my school."
She expressed her feelings about the Blu-ray release, saying, "It feels like the golden age of Nikkatsu has come back. I can’t believe I’ve come this far to celebrate the 65th anniversary."
The event was covered by four TV media outlets, six sports newspapers, and 26 web media, spreading information about the package.

**Comments received for the "Yoshinaga Sayuri: 65th Anniversary of Film Debut Project"**
"My first visit to Nikkatsu Studios was on my high school entrance day. I changed from my uniform into casual clothes, dressed up as best as I could, and took the bus to the studio. From that day on, Nikkatsu became my second school."
"In my debut film, I kept trembling while handing coffee to Keiichiro Akagi and kept making NG takes. I was cared for overnight by Izumi Ashikawa, like a goddess of mercy. Hamada Mitsuo, who skillfully caught my awkward straight balls with inside work, and kind senior and junior colleagues, all made my days fulfilling. There were worries and joys, but I truly felt I was living my youth at Nikkatsu."
"Director Kiro Urayama once told me, 'If you have any trouble, consult your teacher.' His words still resonate with me. I am still continuing as an actress today. What I learned during my Nikkatsu days continues to live on."
"Now, my youth photo collection has been completed. Please enjoy my precious youth."

**Story**
In a quiet mansion town, the Kashiwazaki family, which retains the appearance of old times, quietly stands.
The elder sister, Minako (Sayuri Yoshinaga), is a shy girl always dressed in modest kimono.
In contrast, the younger sister, Kanako (Masako Izumi), is a modern girl working in a factory’s broadcasting department.
Kanako has many boyfriends and is the complete opposite of her sister.
One day, each of the two brothers brings their respective classmates’ older brothers to introduce to the family.
The overlapping of the matchmaking days causes chaos in the Kashiwazaki household.
Everyone is impressed by Minako, who has become stunningly beautiful in a flashy kimono.
The visiting brothers are:
- Ichio Sakamoto, the eldest son of Sakamoto Hospital, a somewhat absent-minded genius (Mitsuo Hamada).
- Tadayoshi Yaguchi, a sharp and excellent securities broker (Ryo Sugii).
Coincidentally, they are former high school classmates.
Both brothers are very enthusiastic about Minako and Kanako and plan to visit the Kashiwazaki house again the following Sunday.
At that time, they learn that Ichio’s father, Tetsuji, has fallen ill, and Ichio makes an unexpected proposal...
