My solo debut album "Saravah!" was when I was 26 years old. Thanks to the miraculous preservation of the multi-track tapes from that time in pristine condition, I was able to re-record all the vocals with my current voice, fulfilling a long-standing wish. Of course, all the backing tracks of the arrangements remain as they were originally recorded.
Now, looking back, I realize how superb the performances of everyone involved in the recording—instrumentalists, chorus, and their expressive abilities—and Professor's arrangements were. Having become accustomed to modern hard disk recording in recent years, the performances from four years ago were truly eye-opening for me.
I carefully remixed and remastered the album, and I believe that this work from four years ago has become a piece that truly represents "my current self."
