■ Precautions Not to Do(1) Do not use on the eyes, around the mouth, mucous membranes, wounds, or other sensitive skin areas. If accidentally applied, rinse thoroughly with water immediately.(2) Be careful not to inhale the spray gas directly.(3) Do not spray continuously on the same spot for more than 3 seconds.
■ Other Precautions(1) If you notice any abnormal skin reactions, discontinue use immediately.(2) Avoid getting into your eyes, swallowing, licking, or inhaling the product. Do not rub your eyes with hands that have applied the product.(3) If the product gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water or lukewarm water. If symptoms such as feeling unwell appear, consult a doctor immediately, informing them that the product contains DEET and ethanol.(4) To prevent irritation, test on the inside of the upper arm or similar area before first use to confirm no abnormal reactions.
■ Indications and EffectsRepellent for mosquitoes, Byu (biting midges), horseflies, fleas, house dust mites, ticks, biting flies, bed bugs (nankin mushi), and chiggers.
■ Usage and Dosage(1) For repelling mosquitoes, Byu (biting midges), horseflies, fleas, house dust mites, ticks, biting flies, and bed bugs:- Shake the can well, hold approximately 15 cm away from the skin, and spray an appropriate amount evenly on exposed skin surfaces.- For the face and neck, spray an appropriate amount into the palm once, then apply to the skin.
(2) For repelling chiggers:- Shake the can well, hold approximately 15 cm away from the skin, and spray an appropriate amount evenly on exposed skin and on footwear or the hem of pants.- For the face and neck, spray an appropriate amount into the palm once, then apply to the skin.
Related Usage Precautions(1) Strictly observe the prescribed usage and dosage.(2) Avoid casual or unnecessary use; use only when needed, such as outdoors with many mosquitoes or biting midges.(3) Since this product contains a high concentration of DEET, do not use on children under 12 years old. (Use products with DEET concentration of 12% or less for children.)(4) The repellent effect of a single application lasts approximately 5 to 8 hours.(5) After spraying or applying, reapply as appropriate considering elapsed time and conditions such as sweating during use.(6) Precautions for chigger repellent:- Do not rely solely on the chemical; wear shirts, pants, and long boots to cover skin.- Since chiggers are hard to see, apply the product before entering areas where they may be present.
