＜Lightning guard mechanism that prevents induced lightning from entering through power lines＞ Induced lightning (1) that enters through power lines is transmitted via modular or power outlets (2) into the broadband tap. The built-in surge absorption element (varistor/arrester) (3) absorbs the lightning surge, which is then transmitted through the ground (6), dispersing the surge outside. ＜Lightning guard mechanism that prevents atmospheric lightning from entering＞ Atmospheric lightning (4) that enters from the air is transmitted via the earth wire (5) connected to the ADSL modem, etc., into the broadband tap. The surge is then expelled outside through the bypass circuit inside the tap via the earth wire (6).
＜Connection method＞ 1. Confirm that the computer is turned OFF. 2. Insert the USB plug of this product into the computer's USB port. 3. If there are already USB devices connected, connect them to the USB splitter socket of this product. 4. Plug the power plug of this product into an outlet. 5. With the peripheral devices turned ON, plug their power cords into the sockets of this product. 6. Ensure that the total capacity of connected devices is 1500W (15A) or less. ＜Operation method＞ 1. Turn ON the computer. When the power strip is energized, the power to the peripherals will turn ON. If connected via a USB hub, the peripherals will turn ON after the computer recognizes the USB hub. 2. Turn off the computer; after a few seconds, the power to the peripherals will turn OFF. *This product cannot be used as a regular power strip. *The outlets will only be energized if the USB port detects a power signal. *This product is designed for use with computers only and cannot be used for other purposes.
