The "Hana Mon You" Series is an original textile series by MKN inspired by traditional Japanese patterns, featuring floral and animal motifs.
The patterns found on dyed textiles discovered in the Shosoin repository in Nara are called "Shosoin Monyo," which have been used in high-class kimono and obi as classical Japanese motifs.
Inspired by these wonderful traditional Japanese patterns, we combined floral and cute animal motifs to design our original textiles, naming this collection "Hana Mon You" (Flower Pattern).
The "Hana Mon You - Cat" features a black cat and rapeseed flowers, combined with a floral pattern in a pale grayish-blue color tone.
Inside the umbrella, there is a tag with the cat & flower pattern logo. We added a little bit of fun even when opening it.
The umbrella is printed on a lightweight, high-density fabric coated with black polyurethane on the back side, making it a lightweight and compact rain or shine folding umbrella.
The light-blocking rate and UV shielding rate are over 99.99%! It also has excellent heat-shielding effects, covering even the strong summer sunlight.
