Regarding the handling of large-capacity flash memory:
If you insert a microSDXC card into a product that does not support the SDXC standard, the data on the microSDXC card will be corrupted. Even if it is formatted and recognized as an SDHC standard, the data on the microSDXC card will be corrupted regardless of this operation. Absolutely do not insert it.
When handling large files (4GB or more), please check the file capacity limitations due to the file system.
FAT32: Maximum file size 4GB. Files larger than 4GB cannot be saved. Even with cards 64GB or larger, only 32GB may be recognized.
exFAT: Not compatible with older devices. Maximum file size 2TB. Files larger than 4GB can be saved. It can manage cards up to 2000GB.
Regarding the recovery of corrupted data on a microSD card:
1) If you wish to reuse a microSDXC card with corrupted saved data, you will need to insert it into an SDXC standard-compatible device and initialize the microSDXC card. The saved data will be deleted. Data will not be restored.
2) If inserting a microSDXC card into a product that does not support the SDXC standard causes the firmware of the microSDXC card to be corrupted, it cannot be repaired even by initialization.
*When performing speed tests, please measure on a PC equipped with a USB 3.0 interface using a USB 3.0 and UHS-I compatible card reader. To achieve UHS-I high-speed performance, not only the card but also the host (computer, camera, card reader, etc.) must support UHS-I. Therefore, to measure the speed of high-speed SD cards, you need equipment with USB 3.0 and a USB 3.0/UHS compatible card reader. Otherwise, you will not be able to achieve the card's full original speed.
