The powerful and gorgeous new release from Starcrawler is here! Starcrawler was formed in Los Angeles in 2015 by charismatic vocalist Arrow de Wilde, born between a musician and a photographer, who met guitarist Henri Cash in high school, and were later joined by Austin Smith (drums) and Tim Franco (bass).
Following their debut album "Starcrawler" in 2018, their first Japan tour sold out all three shows in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. They also performed at the Fuji Rock Festival that same year, creating a huge sensation not only worldwide but also here in Japan. Now, Starcrawler is releasing their second and latest album, "Devour You"!
This latest work, which masterfully captures and condenses their uncontrollable and aggressive live performance into an album, features producer Nick Launay (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs). While retaining their raw energy, the sound has evolved to reveal an elegant side not seen in their previous work.
This album, with its intricate, precise, and hard-hitting sonic variations, is a collection of carefully selected songs that exude both raw sensitivity and irrepressible power. It is a work filled with the excitement of rock and roll, the blood and sweat shed on stage, and the bruises on knees and broken fingers – all their emotions poured into its completion!
The limited import LP will be released on blood-red marble colored vinyl with a rose-scented sleeve.
