This is the latest release from APRILSET, the solo project of DJ & producer Masataka Suzuki, whose energetic Motown beat cover of Kazuyoshi Saito's "Aruite Kaerou," released this July, is still fresh in our minds! This is an analog 7-inch featuring a cover of the romantic masterpiece "Next Plane Home" by popular SSW Daniel Powter, with the伸びやかな (nobiyakana - stretching, flowing) vocals of the notable singer Michiko Taji featured. The song is about "hopping on the next plane to come back to you."
The "UPTOWNMIX," which remains faithful to the original song's image, is a must-listen, as is the "DOWNTOWNMIX," which boldly incorporates a city pop arrangement. This is a Christmas present from APRILSET, released by Unchantable Records, with stylish artwork depicting a scene from an airport lobby!
