She plays Japan-made content such as anime, Vocaloid, game songs, and J-POP, which the world proudly boasts. In the summer of 2013, her violin cover of "The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku" became a hot topic, leading to appearances on numerous TV information programs and music shows.
Since then, Ishikawa has released three classical cover works, including Vocaloid, film music, and anime songs. As a culmination of these efforts, she covers and releases an album featuring Japan's proud songs on violin.
This album includes many representative songs of 2016, such as the opening theme of the original Pokémon GO, "Aim to be a Pokémon Master," which regained popularity with the game's breakout, BABYMETAL's popular song "Megitsune," and the first opening theme of the anime "Osomatsu-san," "Hanamaru Pippi Hayoiko," among others.
Additionally, guest musicians from Wagakki Band, who are rapidly rising in popularity, participate in the recording: Seishi Ibukuro on koto and Daisuke Kami on shakuhachi.
The artwork also features a Japanese-themed worldview.
