Until his retirement in 2002, he was active as a top designer for 40 years and was called the "Emperor of Fashion." The brand's "Yves Saint Laurent Beauté" also offers a wide range of cosmetics products. One of the most famous items from Yves Saint Laurent is the 1966 Smoking Tuxedo. It was an arrangement of men's tuxedo, resulting in a women's suit. In the 1970s, he announced designs such as Cossack look and folkloric styles.
