【耐摩耗性合金の玉=筆記ポイント面】の筆記面形状を丸く造り上げることで、ペンの滑りを良くすることに成功。
また調査の間で判明した、右利きの人とは違う僅かな握りの違いにも注目。
軸を左右対称に作り作り変えるのではなく、新たに左側の形状を削るようにカット。
