Starting from the self-evident fact for those born after 1965 (when Japanese modernization was almost complete) that "there's nothing interesting" and "there are no goals anywhere," Michelle's rock and roll, which has driven as if to burn out the concept of boredom itself, was inherently decadent in its very formation. However, this work, delivered after an interval of about 1 year and 7 months, inevitably makes the listener imagine the four members standing stunned before the "void" that has become too immense. The apathy that pervades current society, "No matter what you do, it won't work anyway," is not something that can be ignored or brushed off with a wry smile; it relentlessly attacks everyone. Listening to this work, which is pierced by beats that progress while dragging heaviness and melodies that depict a gloomy mood, anyone will be made to feel that way. However, needless to say, this feeling—not being able to imagine the future and always carrying a sense of melancholy—is precisely "now." Compared to the smooth, bright faces of many "rock bands" who try to escape the moment by saying, "Don't look so sad, let's have fun," Michelle, who doesn't hide their exhausted expressions, is many times more real and far superior as an artist, which I believe is self-evident.
