To commemorate the 15th anniversary, all 11 major works are being remastered and released in UHQCD!
Sound Horizon is an artist collective led by sound creator Revo.
In celebration of their major debut’s 15th anniversary, it has been decided to remaster all 11 major titles released from ‘Elysion – Prelude to Paradise –’ in 2004 to ‘Nein’ released in 2015, using the latest technology under Revo’s supervision, and release them in UHQCD, a high-spec CD format.
The series is jointly released by Bellwood Records, King Records, and Pony Canyon as “Sound Horizon Around 15th Anniversary Re:Master Production”.
The remastering is handled by Koji Maeda, a representative mastering engineer of Bernie Grundman Mastering Tokyo, who learned under the legendary American mastering engineer Bernie Grundman, opened the Tokyo branch in 1997, and has worked on many hit works as a mastering engineer.
He is a key person who has also handled mastering for many works of Sound Horizon.
Under Revo’s supervision, the UHQCD (Ultimate High Quality CD) selected as the media for this release conforms to CD standards and can be played on existing CD players.
Thanks to a newly developed manufacturing process, it offers sound fidelity even closer to the original master than traditional high-quality discs.
The sound quality refined through remastering and UHQCD will surely bring new emotional experiences to listeners.
