1998年、「メンバーは悩み抜いた末、解散を決意しました。」音楽ビジネスに疑問を持ちつつクラウドベリー・ジャム名義で公式サイトからファンに向けて配信されたこのメールを最後に解散。その後ヴォーカリストのジェニー・メディンはソロアルバムをリリース。解散から5年後の2004年、ジェニー、ヨルゲン、ヘンリックというCBJ黄金期のメンバーで再結成し、Handcuts Recordsよりアルバム『Movin'on up』をリリースし、1万枚以上のセールスを記録。ボッサやソウル、ジャズといったクロスオーヴァーな要素を彼らなりの巧みなミックスサウンドで聴かせつつも、根底にあるメロディーラインはJ-POPのルーツともいえる。最近では上戸彩の楽曲リミックスなどもこなし、プロデュース、アレンジワークでも多彩な活躍を見せている。
