Zushi Kotsubo-produced Sea Urchin Shell Calcium Nuka Bed is a ready-to-use Nuka Bed (fermentation bed) that only requires adding water (Zushi Kotsubo-produced Sea Urchin Shell Calcium Included).
We carefully blend domestically produced rice bran (grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers), barley from Okayama Prefecture, and Shonan Akamoku, then ferment it thoroughly. In addition to rice bran's surface layer and germ, we incorporate Zushi Kotsubo-produced Sea Urchin Shell Calcium, dried yeast, lactic acid bacteria, and other ingredients.
By simply adding an equal amount of water (500cc) to the Nuka, a functionally rich Nuka Bed is completed.
You can start pickling vegetables from that day, and enjoy delicious Nukazuke (fermented pickles) by the next day.
Compared to regular Nukazuke, this product is rich in vitamins, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and features a milder salty taste.
You can pickle vegetables such as cucumber, daikon radish, turnip, eggplant, yam, cabbage, and myoga, for 12 hours or more, adjusting the pickling time to your preference.
By replenishing the Nuka and managing it properly, you can continue using it regardless of the expiration date.
