富野監督の「オーバーマン キングゲイナー」の主役メカが可動フィギュアとしてリボルテックに登場。独創性溢れるデザインを活かしつつ、洗練された山口式可動とリボルバージョイントによりアクションが可能に。
リボルテックは、毎月2種同時発売となる、「コレクタブル」フィギュアコレクションシリーズ。漫画家内藤泰弘氏とデザイナー神宮司訓之氏によるトイブランド「TOYTRIBE/トイトライブ」の発案による、「リボルバージョイント」を採用。「リボルバージョイント」は、カチカチという快いクリック音とともに大きな角度で曲がり、どんな角度に曲げてもその状態を確実に保持、何度も曲げるとへたるという可動関節の問題点を解消した、新コンセプトの汎用ジョイントパーツ。可動部以外は抜き差し自由なシンプルな構造で、違うフィギュアの四肢を入れ替えることも可能、同じジョイントをあらゆるモチーフのフィギュアに転用できるなど、新たな可能性を秘めた“革命的な”パーツなのだ。
