Nothing's Carved In Stone began in 2008. The band was formed when Shinichi Ubukata, a member of ELLEGARDEN, was prompted by ELLEGARDEN's hiatus in September 2008 to invite Hidekazu Hinata, the current bassist of Straightener. Through Hinata's introduction, Takahiro Okita, the drummer for FULLARMOR, joined. Ubukata, who was searching for a vocalist, became interested in Taku Muramatsu of ABSTRACT MASH after discovering him on MySpace. After attending a live performance with Okita, they were captivated by his live performance and began serious negotiations. The band released their 1st album in May 2009, their 2nd album in June 2010, and their 3rd album in June 2011. The following year, on August 15, 2012, they made their major debut with EPIC Records and released their 4th album, "Silver Sun." Their national tour supporting the album saw tickets sell out at every venue. A live monster band that delivers breathtaking performances.
