**[Introduction]**Those two are back—.Hiroshi Tachi plays "Taka" (Dandy Takayama) and Kyohei Shibata plays "Yuji" (Sexy Oshita). The legend of Taka and Yuji as "Abu Deka" began 38 years ago. As the origin of the "buddy cop" genre in Japanese TV drama, it has set numerous records. At the time of its original broadcast, the drama reached a peak viewership rating of 26.4%! Filming was frequently halted because the Yokohama locations were overwhelmed by crowds.
The "Abu Deka" phenomenon expanded beyond the TV series into films, with the first theatrical movie becoming a massive hit. It was followed by *Mata Mata*, *Mottomo*, *Returns*, *Forever THE MOVIE*, and *Mada Mada*. The legend supposedly reached its finale with the 2016 film *Saraba Abunai Deka*—or so it seemed.
In 2024, the series makes a grand revival with this 8th film, spanning three eras: Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa. Returning after 8 years, the film has become another major hit, surpassing the box office revenue of the previous installment! Starring Hiroshi Tachi and Kyohei Shibata as Taka and Yuji, the familiar cast returns, including Atsuko Asano as "Kaoru" (Kaoru Mayama) and Toru Nakamura as "Toru" (Toru Machida).
Tao Tsuchiya joins as the heroine, alongside new guest stars Michiko Kichise, Goro Kishitani, Nanase Nishino, and Taichi Saotome. While inheriting 38 years of history, the Reiwa-era "Abu Deka" is captured by director Hirotoshi Hara of "BABEL LABEL." A new *Abunai Deka*, created by Director Hara’s young team alongside the legends, is born here!
