As a sequel to the 2018 live (AVA10572) that thrilled music fans worldwide, the 2019 live from the same Hamburg venue is now available in a voluminous 6-disc set. Many tracks feature performances by Argerich herself, including the rare solo recording of “Kinderszenen”. It also includes collaborations with Sylvain Cambreling on Prokofiev, with Charles Dutoit on Tchaikovsky, who also conducted Stravinsky’s “The Wedding”. Guests such as René Capuçon, Mischa Maisky, Katia Buniyatishvili, Teddy Pahapol, Steven Kovacevich, Akane Sakai, and others, provide wonderful collaborations. The set also features the highly acclaimed Eugen Bojanov’s Scarlatti recording from her 2019 Japan tour.
