We sought tea leaves that would maximize the power of Kangen-kun, aiming to deliver delicious and healthy products. Our research led us to the power of Beni Fuki green tea.

Beni Fuki is a unique Japanese super botanical tea, rich in methylated catechins, which are not commonly found in regular green tea.

**What is Beni Fuki?**

Beni Fuki is a tea leaf variety first developed in Japan. It was cultivated at the National Institute of Vegetable and Tea Science, named in 1993, and registered as a variety for black tea and oolong tea in 1995.

**What are Methylated Catechins?**

Methylated catechins are a type of polyphenol found in tea leaves. They are formed when a portion of "epigallocatechin gallate," the most abundant catechin in common tea leaves, undergoes a methylation reaction. Beni Fuki, Beni Fuji, and Beni Homare are tea varieties known to be rich in these compounds.

A key characteristic of methylated catechins is that they dissolve easily at high temperatures and exert their effects when dissolved in water. To efficiently consume methylated catechins, we recommend brewing Beni Fuki tea with hot water and drinking it after extraction.

To consume methylated catechins, if the tea leaves have a methylated catechin content of 1.5%, it is recommended to boil 3.8g of tea leaves in about 400ml or more of water for over 5 minutes.

This is a recommended daily amount, and we encourage you to use it as a reference when consuming Beni Fuki tea.

**How to Make Delicious and Effective "Kangen-kun Beni Fuki Tea"**

1. Place one tea bag in a kettle or pot with 500cc of water.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. After slightly cooling, add 400cc of water.
3. When the temperature reaches 35-45℃ (body temperature) as measured by a thermometer, pour it into the Kangen-kun, close the lid.
4. Let it steep for approximately 12 hours to complete the "Kangen Beni Fuki Tea." Store in a PET bottle or other container.
5. Enjoy your delicious hydrogen-infused Beni Fuki tea.
