繊細さや丁寧さを得意とする日本製と違い、アメリカ製は頑強さや機能性を重視する。
だから1点1点どれも同じじゃないし、味の出方も面白い。
だからレッドウィングはアメリカ製にこだわり続けているんだと思います。
そして製法。
一生履ける靴としてソールの張替えができるグッドイヤーウェルト製法を採用。
パーツも多くなるし、作業工程も複雑だから時間も手間もかかる。
でも、それだけ丈夫な靴ができる。
アメリカ製との組み合わせは最高なんです。
メンズとかレディースとか関係なく、単純にモノとして良いと思えるのがこのレッドウィング。
アメリカ製でこのクオリティで、この価格はちょっとズルい。
少し無骨な印象があるかもしれないけど、意外とシンプルで合わせやすいから今まで履いていなかった方にも試して欲しいブランドです。
