**How to Use Baking Soda for Cleaning:**
* To remove burnt-on food from pots and pans.

**Places Not Suitable for Cleaning with Baking Soda:**
* **Sticky, Caked-on Grease Stains:** Baking soda is a mild alkaline cleaner, close to neutral. For stubborn, sticky grease or caked-on stains, sesquicarbonate soda or electrolytic water is more effective.
* **White Water Stains:** White, hardened water stains in bathrooms or inside kettles are effectively removed by dissolving them with citric acid, an acidic cleaner.
* **Toilet Odors and Yellow Stains:** Toilet odors and stains caused by ammonia are alkaline. Neutralize and remove them with citric acid, an acidic cleaner.
